For those of you who have not heard, their house was broken into at 3 in the morning.  The father was beaten beyond recognition and left tied to a chair in the basement, waiting to die.  Then the men beat and raped his 2 daughters, ages 11 and 17.  They were tied to thier beds.  The wife was also beaten, possibly raped, and after 6 hours of torture, made to drive to the bank and withdraw $15,000.  The men brought her back home, strangled her, poured gasoline everywhere, lit the house on fire, and fled.  Dr Petit was able to hop up the stairs and save himself from the fire.  His dead wife was not, and neither were his bound daughters.  They died from smoke inhalation and burns.  

Luckily, they caught the bastards.

I'm seeing at 20/40 now, which is a ridiculous improvement over whatever i was before.

my eyes hurt and i'm going to go close them some more.

I'm having LASIK vision correction this summer!  I am fucking excited!!!
